Background

Born to Morgan Fey along side of her sister Iris, she was thrown into the middle of a dispute that could change her very life even at such a young age. Growing up in the village of Kurain she didn’t know much of the outside world, in fact she and her sister were quite the pair of sweet things alongside of Mia and Maya Fey. However one fateful day Misty Fey’s power as a spirit channeler surpassed their mothers taking the Master of the Kurain Channeling Technique away from their mother. Her father, a man Dahlia later despises, takes her and her sister away only to remarry later. Iris was dropped off at some temple in the mountains, and Dahlia could only careless and less that she was losing her family one by one. Her father, a rather wealthy jealwer, was a bitter man as his previous wife could have had a lot of power.

Selfish pig.

Dahlia Hawthorne, age fourteen, started to plan a rather extensive plot for obtaining a ransom from her own father. Her boyfriend, twenty year old Terry Fawles, and her foster sister Valerie Hawthorne joined in to the plot to steal a prized jewel from her father. Terry would kidnap her: Valerie would persue and seal the exchange. Instead the plan backfired. Valerie shot Terry Fawles as Dahlia leaped into the river below. Thought to be dead, Terry was sent to jail for the murder of miss Dahlia Hawthorne...but in reality she was very much a live. But she lost her ticked to freedom somewhere in the rivers dark water.

She washed up on a river bank near Hazukura temple where her sister Iris found her. Knowing a vague part of the situation she nursed her back to health. Despite this, Dahlia was never grateful for her sisters help...not until later. She nonchalantly thanked her and went on her way under a psydoname.

Melissa Foster appeared six years later in court as a whiteness of the death of Valerie Hawthorne who was murdered in per suite of escapee Tarry Fawles. Mia Fey was suspicious of her friendly appearance, her sweet charm, and a few contradictions later they had come to the conclusion that Terry didn’t actually kill Valerie at all. In fact Mia pointed a finger, with the help of Diego (her mentor), at Melissa, accusing her of killing Valerie, and eventually revealing that it was her sister. Before the verdict was declared, Terry took the stand one last time. The case ended with Terry taking his own life under Dahlia’s instructions as proof of his love, drinking the poison he had received from her. She went free from the trial as there was no verdict reached and scarred Mia and even Miles Edgeworth during the end of the trial.

Dahlia was under a lot of suspicion however, tailed by the police and questioned several times about the incident. It wasn’t until six months later she made her move when one Diego Armando got too close. In the court house cafeteria she poisoned Mr. Armando’s coffee causing him to ‘die’ that day. In order to dispose of the poison that had killed Terry as well as Diego, she darted upstairs when a rather unlikely suspect had entered into her life. Claiming love at first sight, she smiled and handed off her pendent that held the poison to Phoenix Wright. Shortly after he had left she was searched as she was the last person to have met with Diego. Finding nothing on her person nor anything in the court house, she was set free again.

However she knew her luck was running out as the college student, Phoenix, was running around with the evidence around his neck. She originally planed to kill him as well, but her sister Iris begged her to spare his life. She would get the pendant back for her sister, and Dahlia only agreed. She never got it back though, the entire six months she was dating Phoenix she had never retrieved the pendent and Dahlia had enough of it.

She stepped in, getting a new set of poison from a once-lovers lab. After stealing the poison she met up with Phoenix for lunch, playing the role of a good, caring girlfriend as he was sick at the time. It was perfect. She stole his Cold Killer Z and was going to use that to poison dear Fennie with. The plan was simple. Phoenix pushed victim Doug Swallow and he collapsed to the ground. Between the time Phoenix left the scene, until the time he returned Doug had been electrocuted to death. At the scene was Dahlia Hawthorne who was mourning his loss.

Mia Fey was once again the defense of the case, defending Phoenix from the ultimate punishment as she believe in her client. Dahlia’s plan was foiled when Mia revealed all of her lies. Dahlia swore vengeance on Mia and that she would return to kill her.

However her vengeance wasn’t through. In her time in jail she met up with her mother Morgan Fey who also swore to destroy her sister. In other to do that she came up with a plot to destroy the main family line of the Fey family in order for her daughter Pearl to become the Master. Pearly had already shown remarkable talent for channeling and thus she couldn’t understand how Maya could be the last of the main line. Dahlia learned that Mia was killed, but she could still get her revenge.

The plan called for killing Maya Fey and what better way to get vengeance on a dead woman than taking the life of the last thing she holds dear to her?

However Dahlia had applied for a pardon, parol or anything that would get her out of jail. They didn’t actually convict her of anything really. Who ever was working the papers that way...or well God must of been on her side (not that she believed in God) she got out on parol. She then applied for a teaching position at Posiden Academy promising she had learned from her mistakes.

...Her sweet disposition really does help her.

Personality

Dahlia is nothing short then a short tempered woman who can’t get her own way. She’s vicious, cruel, manipulative, and she’ll do just about anything to try and get her own way. She’s the worst kind of criminal - the kind that won’t go away. She’s a cold hearted murderer and she doesn’t mind how people view her. She enjoys using people - especially her sister who she holds so dear to her (just like a precious little doll). Even her precious Feenie couldn’t stand a chance from her malicious ways. However she can be sweet and kind when she wants to as she wasn’t always an evil girl. She smiles, she’s charming, and her soft voice can make anyone smile. She plays the part of the innocent damsel in distress, but don’t let that fool you. It’s just a plot to either try and kill you, or have you assist her in a grand plot where she comes out on top and only she. So polite, too bad it’s only for her selfish desire of revenge.

Appearance

Dahlia is fair skinned and sweet faced. Gentle looking, she has a sickening sweet smile that many are easily swayed by her wiles. There are several times the entire court room (well outside of the defense) was completely on her side. Her hair is blood red, which is quite fitting fo her despite her dying it from it’s original black. Her eyes are sweet, when she’s not glaring and giving nasty looks, and coloured a dark chocolate. She’s almost always seen in her long southern-belle like dress with pink trim around the top, a sheer shawl (that defies gravity) draped around her shoulders, and an umbrella that she uses to cover her from all sorts of weather. Her shoes are white, giving her everything that would be to offer a pure persona - and even white butterflies seem to be attracted to her (that or they just really like the butterflies upon her heeled shoes). As an actor she can pretend to cry, but her inability to keep her cool at times shines through. Especially when she’s surprised at accusations. It’s quite obvious when she’s angry or acting positively down right evil with the way her eyes narrow, her grin becomes malicious and her mouth twitches when the name of her most hated rival is mentioned.

Strengths

Her gifts are to manipulate. Her strength is her ability to act on whim. She’s great at playing pretend and her charming manner manages to get many of those on her side or to even love her. She has a great way of covering up the truth even hiding evidence in a peculiar way. She passed off a bottle of deadly poison to Phoenix as a love gift but she realised her mistake. She often times in a tough situation doesn’t think but she carefully calculates her plan, making sure that each detail has a back up and so on - it’s one of her strengths after all outside of the sweet facade she carries about her.

Weaknesses

One of her biggest flaws is her anger and her persistence. She waited patiently for six months before she moved in to try and kill “her” Fennie in order to save herself from persecution of the death of defense attorney Diego Armando. Despite her family and her blood line, she actually cannot channel spirits in her body. Unlike her mother and her mother’s sister she and her twin are weak in that art and cannot call someone for even a second. She hates that about herself but she would do anything to get her revenge, even helping her hag of a mother defeat the main family branch so her precious daughter could take over. Out of everything, however she’s so bent on revenge she doesn’t quite see how blind it’s made her.

Relationships

alwayswright Phoenix Wright, aka Feenie, is her Ex-boyfriend whom she attempted to murder. She really thinks he's nothing more then a useless man despite how far he's come along in the world. Nothing but a pathetic waste of time.

pearlfeywright Pearl Fey-Wright is Dahlia's sweet younger half-sister. She hasn't been in her life much but she does know the girl vaguely.

mysticmaya Maya Fey, her worst enemies younger sister. She wouldn't mind killing her if it meant for her own gain.
